Hi,

Generally agree with all the comments.

Would add that I think however we resolve the FY running/points (I guess this is still under discussion) then I really think we need to hook up/modify the test track such that we can test both it and stock. We need to be able to do it quickly on a Friday late.

At Telford we had enough locos spare for two more to fail, but it would be good to get all the locos tested before we go on show and 100% reliable.

regards,

Steve

Hi Gentlemen

In addition to the above suggestions, I think there is a requirement to have a test running facility for testing Locomotives and stock off the the layout when on show, maybe using the carriage works sidings ( those not on view) and the road out onto the curve. Perhaps there could be a link to the sprog for re addressing any stock that have lost  their ID.

Also the use of a viewing aperture for the viewing public to frame the layout frontage, and the toning down of the backscene would greatly improve the layout as a whole, as would the already mentioned full circumference cloth curtain.

The use of a diffusing cloth that would work with lighting gantries/stands would  also be worth evaluation

All the best

Paul
