In the original LMJ timetable there is a TPO working, have you any photos references as to the formation of this set, or was there a fixed foramt for all TPO workings across the network. I only ask as we don't have a TPO set in the club...next project?

cheers

Mike

It's taken me a while, but ...

The TPO was in the 12.00 (noon) Penzance to Crewe, which passed through LMJ at 20.32 and comprised:

TPO (801/2/3), BTK, TK, CK, BCK, TK, Full brake (LM), Full brake, Siphon G, Van,

The current ‘model’ timetable finishes at 18.25 so this wouldn’t appear unless we want to rejig things a bit.

The return working was on the 01.25 Crewe to Cardiff (04.20 through LMJ)

A little further info:

In 1933 three new carriages were provided, Nos, 801, 802 and 803. These were 50’ long and were fitted with electric radiators for use while standing at Crewe station. At some time prior to 1933 apparatus working ceased as these carriages were without nets and arms.

I'll post the full info on Storegate.

Nos, 801, 802 and 803. were to diagram L22 and 50' long.
